Day Thirty Eight - Journal

Chris and I traveled to Rochester Thursday night. It was an unexpected trip to Grandma and Grandpa's. We got word on Thursday that my Grandmother was in the hospital and had double pneumonia amongst other things and wasn't doing all too well. We booked a flight right away for Thursday. When we arrived we got the good word that things had made a turn for the better and she was making improvements. This is also Hayden's first chance to see my dad, Grandpa Rex, Aunt Linn, and Uncle Sean (who comes back from a work trip on Monday). Although this week has been anything but normal, it's actually nice to be recovering from surgery with so many helping hands around!
