Vincent Dalessandro "Uncle Vince" of Liverpool, died Saturday. Born in Syracuse, he was chief electrician for Syracuse China, from where he retired in 1990 after 44 years of employment. Mr. Dalessandro was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and a member of the Liverpool-Clay VFW #951. Mr. Dalessandro served in the United States Navy during WWII, participating in action in 14 major engagements in the Pacific Theater aboard the USS Mobile. Mr. Dalessandro was also co-owner, along with his brother John, of Riverview Mobile Court in Pennellville, NY. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Emily (Corso) Dalessandro; son, Philip Dalessandro, and daughter, Bonnie Dalessandro, both of Liverpool; brother, John (Victoria) Dalessandro of Liverpool; sister, Katherine (Bruce) Hutchins of Ellicott City, MD; two grandchildren, Anthony and Audrey Johnston; and several nieces and nephews.
