Did you miss us? We were off visiting California for a week and we just got back last night. The good news is we had a great time visiting friends, hanging in San Francisco, and enjoying the California weather. The bad news is we took LOTS of pictures that we can't wait to share with you.... but I left the camera in San Fran. Not to worry, Adrienne is shipping it to us so we'll have pics to share in due time!
Grammie Jean and Grandpa Rex are coming to visit this week.. so we'll have pics from their visit to share too.
So.... long story short -- we're gonna keep you hanging for a bit more before we share those cute pics! Let's just say that some involve a 3 month old in jail, tasting wine, and hanging with a lizard!

Hey ... I've missed my "Hayden fix" and I just get back into work after being out for that ACL replacement surgery (approx 6 weeks)and you don't have a camera!!!???? Darn Darn!! Oh well, I'm glad to hear you guys all had a great time in California and are home safe and sound and I will keep checking to see pix! Love to all .... Aunt Dianne
On Mother's Day, the most important thing we can do to honor mothers is to recognize that mothering isn't just for mothers. The mother we have, the mother we may be, the mothers of our past and future, and especially the mother WITHIN each of us -- that is the mother to honor and affirm.
Most any man can father a child for this we know is true, but to be a good dad there's a whole lot more for all these men to do.
They have to have strength to endure long days even though their bodies be tired, the love in their hearts has to show in their eyes to the child who so admires.
They have to show honesty through each day and show that life is worth living, they have to show caring in all they do in taking and in giving.
Understanding has to be a big part of the father's heart as well, and though he feels pain or hurts at times he may never, never tell.
They have a great laughter that shows in their eyes and comes rolling from within, to light up the faces of each little child as each day draws to an end.
Hopes for today, Dreams for tomorrow is what they must keep showing, and though they grow old they still feel great joy, for the love of their children keeps growing.
